Yuhi Horiguchi serves as Chief Executive Officer of ASP, focusing on capital
raising, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring advisory and accounting
support services. Yuhi has over 8 years of experience in financial and
accounting services advising clients in both Japan and the United States.
Prior to joining ASP, Yuhi was an investment analyst at the Strategic Investment
Group of Deutsche Securities Inc. (Tokyo) where he was involved in identifying
and analyzing corporate investment opportunities primarily in distressed
debt, equity and real estate. Sectors covered included real estate, construction,
non-bank financial services and pachinko. Prior to Deutsche Securities
Inc., Yuhi was an Associate at Imperial Capital LLC (San Francisco) where
he was involved in serving corporate clients with various transactions
including financial restructurings, acquisitions, and divestitures. Yuhi
began his career at Ernst & Young LLP (Los Angeles / San Francisco)
where he was an audit manager providing audit and business advisory services
to Japanese and U.S corporate clients.
Yuhi received his Master of Accounting from the University of Southern
California and Bachelor of Art in Economics from Keio University (Tokyo). Yuhi
is a U.S. Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and a U.S. Certified
Public Accountant.
Kei Kotani
Chief Administrative Officer
Kei Kotani serves as Chief Administrative Officer of ASP. Prior to joining
ASP, Kei was a HR manager at Ernst & Young San Francisco office where
she developed and implemented multiple projects across all Silicon Valley
offices to increase employee satisfaction and engagement. Kei began her
career at Arthur Andersen Human Capital Services (Tokyo office) where she
worked as a HR Consultant. She worked with various organizations to implement
Competency System to rebuild HR programs and align business objectives
and HR systems. She was also involved in HR integration projects for cross-border
mergers and acquisitions.
Kei received her Master of Science in Organization Development from the
University of San Francisco and Bachelor of Arts in Human Communication
from the University of San Francisco. She is also a certified facilitator
of Fierce Conversation training programs.
Suguru Bob Kobayashi
Principal
Suguru Bob Kobayashi is Principal at ASP. Bob has over 10 years of real
estate experience, including management, investment, and brokerage. Bob
was appointed as an exclusive advisor of the Japanese investment properties
of D. B. Zwirn Co., assisting the firm to maximize value of the properties
and help finding investors for each exit. In 2005, Bob joined the Real
Estate Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley Securities, Inc. (Tokyo)
where he was responsible for the division’s real estate investment transactions.
He was involved in closing over JPY200bn of real estate investments. Investments
include office buildings, retail buildings, residential assets, and corporate
stocks. Bob started his career at the Finance Division of Mitsui Fudosan
Co. Ltd. where he was involved in the cash flow management of the company.
Bob also involved in asset management at Mitsui Fudosan, and managed over
30 office buildings located in central Tokyo.
Suguru received his Bachelor of Art in Economics from Keio University (Tokyo).
He is a Certified Real Estate Transaction Specialist.
Atsushi Suda
Principal
Atsushi Suda serves as Principal and focuses on deal structuring, execution
and accounting services. Prior to joining ASP, Atsushi worked at Ernst
& Young Los Angeles office where he provided audit services to Japanese
and U.S. corporate clients. He returned to Japan in 2008 and joined Shinnihon
LLP to provide audit services for multi-national Japanese companies. He
resigned Shinnihon LLP and established Premium Delivery LLC.
Atsushi received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from University
of California at Los Angeles.
